Its quite interesting to see the politicians like Pranab Mukherjee threatening Pakistan with any some real consequences if they do not act ! Some one from the ruling party with such a hard stance is what the country and its people need right now.
Amir ayaz one of the senior most journalists of Pakistan was just now on CNN-IBN discussing the War Threat issue with Rajdeep Sardesai and Anubha Bhonsle. Addressing Anubha Bhonsle as Mr. Sardesai was not the only thing someone could laugh at. The most humorous part was how as a true Pakistani Mr Ayaz went on advocating the Pakistani reaction to the whole affair. The one thing which he was stuck was ’Credible Evidence’. Ha ha …
The only terrorist caught has given all the information not only to the Indian police but also to the FBI and if I am not mistaken to some other foreign investigation agencies. The ex Prime Minister Mr Nawaz Sharif has openly admitted to the fact that Kasab is indeed a Pakistani. Mr Ayaz what more evidence do you want? Its not only us, but even the British and American law enforcement agencies consenting to what India says.
War is not something impossible right now . There is every chance of India starting a military campaign against Pakistan. It may mainly be targeted on the Militant camps in POK. In such an eventuality, every educated citizen of both the countries realizes two things. First Pakistan is going to totally collapse. The economy is already in doldrums. Its just sustaining on the aid provided by WB and USA. Secondly the impact its going to have on India. The second fastest growing economy in the world is struggling to cope with the never ending financial crisis. The recent tax cuts have somewhat given some relief . But the danger of inflation and job cuts is looming large .
Like any other fellow Indian who gets emotionally charged when it comes to the nation’s pride, I too would like a strict action against the perpetrators of violence. But lets be practical. We need to save our country from any kind of economic deterioration. Secondly, rather the most important thing we should not forget is that we both are Nuclear powers.
America and the rest of the world are trying their best to cool down our nerves. And that is justifiable. A nuclear war is the ugliest face that a war can take up. Its going to destroy a great percentage of the mankind. Any alternative option needs to be considered fully before we go into a conflict. Of course if nothing works, a fitting reply to the enemy is what we know !

The Global Economy and Me

So this is my first blog! Better late than never and special thanks to "P" who really encouraged me to do this !

Ever since the advent of the Subprime Mortgage Crisis in America, the experts have been speculating a Global Recession which would hit each and every nation on the face of this planet.
Being away from my country (India) during this turmoil, I never actually realized the intensity of the so called 'Economic Crisis' . But the UK Govt's declaration of a recession in the country( This actually means two consecutive quarters of negative growth) made me worried as I am into an industry (I would say a deadly combination of Airline and software!) that is always the worst hit. And this actually resulted in some tough measures taken by the org. I work for. E.g. Resource cut offs, Retirement options for the employees and Project terminations. Even tough I was lucky enough to still sustain, the picture looks quite gloomy. After returning to India I have come to know about its actual impact . The fear of job loss hovers on all of us. Be it the banking, airline, IT & ITES. So my findings and knowledge gathering on the global economy starts here. It effects all of us.So feedback from the reader is most welcome.
